Visitors to the Colchester Town Green will see a new sign that declares the town’s name and history. The Colchester Business Association sponsored the replacement of this sign as it was in dire need of repair.
“The public should see a jewel that shines like the town it is in, and this is one act we can do to help our community take pride in its heritage,” said Jack Faski, CBA President and of Skyview Realty. “We hope you all enjoy the sign and reading about our town’s history.”
Every town in Connecticut has an aluminum sign in their town center. It is often the place where photos are taken, visitors go to experience the town, and the community gathers. Many of them are in serious need of repair.
“We were able to replace the sign with the help from all our members,” stated Faski. “Thank you to all of them!”
