Marnie-Ann Balaski is the Creater/Owner of AGAIN! AGAIN! kids’ consignment. Open since August 2004, the children’s boutique features name brand clothing & footwear, books & videos, toys, infant & toddler accessories and gifts. Ellie the friendly pachyderm sits out front to greet patrons of all ages.

After promptly joining the CBA in 2005 she also became a member of the National Association of Resale & Thrift Shops (NARTS). Marnie is on the Welcoming Committee for the CBA, was elected to the Board of Directors in 2007, and will co-chair the 2008 Tag Sale on the Green.

Greg Barden has been a CBA member for 24 years, and served as president for eight years. He has been very active in the association: chairing the Tag Sale on the Green; creating partnerships with local papers; and helping to publish the town guides. Currently his position on the board is as past president/advisor. He is also working closely with the Marketing and Membership committees to re-brand the CBA and boost member benefits.

As a Sales Manager for the ReminderNews, based in Vernon, he helps oversee 40 employees. Barden helped to start the paper's Colchester edition eight years ago. He serves on the Tolland County Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Colchester Lions. Married to his wife Debby for 25 years, they reside in Colchester.

Atty. Broder grew up in Colchester and has been practicing law in town since 1963. He is a graduate of Bacon Academy, Trinity College and Harvard Law School. He is admitted to practice in the courts of Connecticut, New York and Virginia, the United States Supreme Court and United States Military Courts. Atty. Broder was one of the original CBA directors. He served as Colchester Town Attorney for more than ten years, is a former member of the Connecticut State Legislature and is retired from the US Navy Reserve with the rank of Commander.

Brenden M. Healy, CPA is a Tax Manager with the accounting firm J.H. Cohn in Glastonbury, CT.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Connecticut State University and a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the University of Hartford.  Brenden regularly consults with clients on tax issues ranging from federal and state income tax matters to multi-state sales tax affairs.  His expertise includes tax planning and consulting matters with closely held companies in the medical, real estate, manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing sectors.  His practice also includes representing clients in state and federal audit matters.

Ginger Pensa has been a CBA member for as long as she has been in Real Estate, since 1989.  She has been very actively involved for about 13 years. Over the years she chaired the Town Guide and Annual Scarecrow Decorating Contest. She has also Co-Chaired the scholarship committee with Lori for the past several years.  Ginger has served on the Tag Sale Committee. Kell Whipple is a longtime resident of Colchester. She is in charge of sales for her family printing business, Copies Plus… more. Marty Zase graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he then was a clinical instructor in restorative dentistry. He has published numerous articles, serves on the editorial or review boards of The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, Contemporary Esthetics, and General Dentistry magazines, and lectures internationally on cosmetic dentistry.  He is one of only eight dentists in the world to have both a Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry and an Accreditation in Cosmetics from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  He was the 2006-2007 President of the AACD and serves on their Board of Accreditation Examiners. 

Having developed numerous techniques and instruments that are currently used in modern cosmetic dentistry, he was granted fellowships in the American College of Dentists, the International Academy for Dento-Facial Esthetics, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy for his contributions to dentistry and dental education.  Dr. Zase practices in the Colchester Dental Group.
